Here are some examples of past work:
Project managed Manchester Women’s Aid website
I projected managed the Manchester Women’s Aid website from start to finish - from sourcing an agency to the website going live. With outstanding web design by Subism, I came up with the site map, wrote briefs for each page, edited the content, staggered deadlines, wrote some of the content, wrote the SEO, content populated the site, provided 301 redirects and managed every aspect of the project. I collaborated with Subism on the new colour scheme, ensuring an inviting space for people seeking help for domestic abuse.
New pages on the types of domestic abuse were created so that the public, supporters and beneficiaries understood the issues more widely.
The result was an increase in donations by 147% in a comparable period.
Projected managed the Pankhurst Museum website
The Pankhurst Museum needed a new, refreshed presence to showcase Emmeline Pankhurst’s old home at 60-62 Nelson Street in Manchester and where she founded the suffragette movement.
From forward-thinking content design for the blocks such as the ‘About the Pankhursts’: “A radical Mancunian lot - find out more about all the quirks, in fighting and true grit from this family who changed the world” to creating a brand new Corporate Partnerships page (from copy to photography) to attract more businesses in the area - I projected managed every aspect of the build - together with Subism and the heritage manager - Emma.
Email marketing copy for Sober Spring 2022 campaign
I led on the 14-week Sober Spring 2022 marketing MailChimp campaign (for Alcohol Change UK) delivered to a 9K audience with an open rate of 40 to 67% (the previous year before my involvement it was a 7K audience with an open rate of 12 to 44%).
I interviewed many people for their stories as well as editing existing copy that they’d written to be in line with house style.
